Opened along one side, this plasma cell cutaway reveals a large round nucleus and folded rough endoplasmic reticulum. The folds are studded with small ribosome bumps. Below it sit a stacked Golgi body and several mitochondria with folded inner ridges, plus scattered round vesicles. Y-shaped antibodies stick out all around the smooth outer membrane, showing what the cell produces.
