A tall timber watch tower rises from a tapered fieldstone base, giving sentries a railed lookout high above the surrounding land. Cross-braced square posts frame an inner ladder that climbs to the plank platform, where a hipped plank roof shelters the guards. Down at the bottom, an arched stone doorway holds a studded plank door with a small step in front. Chunky stones and grooved woodgrain give painters plenty of texture to catch. Set it at a village edge, a border outpost or a castle road in a fantasy tabletop campaign, or display it on a shelf of medieval terrain.
