A stone town gate stands between two square towers, each crowned with chunky crenellations and pierced by narrow guard slits. A crenellated wall walk links the towers above a broad round arch, where a spiked portcullis hangs halfway down over an open passage that miniatures can walk through. Hand-cut looking blocks, a row of machicolation brackets and banded tower ledges give the masonry a sturdy storybook look. Set it at the edge of a tabletop town, a castle siege board or a fantasy wargame battlefield, or give it a spot on a display shelf next to other medieval buildings.
