Opened with a wide cutaway, this neurobot organoid model shows a round cluster of frog skin cells with a bumpy, cobbled outer surface. Inside, several star-shaped neurons stretch long branching processes and axons through the interior tissue toward the outer layer. The cut rim reveals the thickness of the skin shell. Drawn from bioelectricity research on living biobots built from frog cells, it is a fascinating display for a neuroscience shelf or a classroom lesson on how neurons grow and connect.
