Split down the middle, this morel mushroom cutaway shows the famous honeycomb cap on one side and the hollow interior on the other. Deep pits and branching ridges cover the outside. The cut runs through the stalk too, revealing that the stem is hollow all the way down to its slightly flared foot. Fine textured walls line the inside of the cap. It is a great display piece for foragers, a botany classroom model for fungi lessons, or a forest-themed addition to a nature shelf.
