Flying squirrel sculpted in a low crouch on four toed paws, with the gliding membrane folded into a ridge along each flank. The head carries large round eyes, small upright ears and fine whiskers, while the dense fur is worked in wavy, ropey strokes across the back and a broad flat tail that trails behind. The body is solid and rounded, so it stands on its own without a base. It suits a display shelf, a nature or biology classroom, or a woodland diorama where a small gliding rodent adds character to the scene.
