Uterine fibroids are the focus of this cutaway uterus model, sliced open to show nodules growing in different positions. Two large lumpy fibroids sit inside the muscular wall, another bulges from the outer surface at the top, and twisting fallopian tubes extend to each side. The cut face reveals the fibrous muscle layers, the central cavity and the ringed cervix below. It is a clear teaching model for gynecology clinics, anatomy and nursing classes, or patient education about fibroids.
