A detailed eyeball cutaway showing what happens inside an eye clouded by a cataract. One side of the sphere is removed to expose the curved cornea and ridged iris at the front, a swollen, mottled lens behind them and branching blood vessels spreading across the retina at the back. The optic nerve juts out the rear, and an eye muscle tab rises from the top.
