A striding straight-tusked elephant with deep wrinkled skin, a high domed forehead, large ears and a long trunk hanging low. Two long, nearly straight tusks sweep forward from the face and a tufted tail swings behind. One front foot and one rear foot are lifted mid-stride, giving the thick pillar legs a sense of motion. It suits a prehistoric mammal display, a natural history shelf or a classroom lesson on extinct elephants, and works well as a centrepiece for an Ice Age diorama.
