Sivatherium, the giant extinct giraffid, strides forward in this sculpted figure with a heavy muscular ox-like body and a long neck. Branching ossicones crown the head beside two large ears and a small second pair of horns. One front leg lifts mid-step while cloven hooves plant on the other three legs, and a tufted tail swings behind. Veined muscle texture covers the whole animal, giving it a weighty, lifelike presence. It suits a display shelf, a prehistoric diorama, a paleontology classroom or a tabletop collection of Ice Age beasts.
