Orthoceras is an extinct nautiloid cephalopod, sculpted with a long straight cone that tapers to a fine point. Evenly spaced ribbed bands run the full length down to the head collar. At the wide end sit two round side eyes and a crown of rounded tentacles fanning out in uneven lengths. The surface is smooth with soft shading between segments, and the body is one solid piece. It suits a paleontology shelf or a classroom ocean life display.
