Opened along one side, this capillary cutaway shows red blood cells stacked and tumbling through a narrow vessel like rows of coins. The outer wall is built from flat endothelial cells with a honeycomb pattern of seams and small raised nuclei, and a wrapping pericyte sits on the surface. The cut window lets the cells inside read clearly against the thin wall. Realistic and textured, it works as a biology or physiology teaching model, a lesson aid on circulation or a neat display for a science classroom.
