Stone steps lead down through a skull-crowned arch into this underground crypt stairway entrance. Two square pillars flank the opening, each topped by a flaming brazier, while sloped side walls frame the descending stair. Deep inside, a smaller arched doorway closes with an iron grille, and the chunky stone blocks carry cracks and chips for a weathered, ancient feel. The back shows a vaulted roof over the passage. Set it on a dungeon crawl table as the way into a tomb, a necromancer lair or a forgotten catacomb.
