An ancient Egyptian war chariot rolls on two large eight-spoke wheels set wide on a straight axle, with a long draft pole reaching forward to a ringed tip. The open-backed cab has curved side rails, a lattice band around its rim and a carved geometric frieze along the lower body, while bent bracing rods run from the rail down to the pole. Underneath, straps and brackets tie the floor to the axle. It makes a striking centrepiece for a desert tabletop campaign, a history classroom shelf or a display of ancient Egypt.
