The tiered stern castle is richly carved, with ornate lanterns on top and rows of decorative panels below. Ratlines climb the shrouds, a carved figurehead leads the bowsprit with its small spritsail, and a row of round gun ports runs along the planked hull above a deep keel. A sailing ship like this is a handsome display piece for a shelf or desk, and it also works as a centrepiece for a pirate or naval tabletop game.
