A xenobot, the tiny living machine assembled from frog skin cells, sculpted as a lumpy spheroid covered in swimming cilia. Its surface is tiled with honeycomb-like polygonal cells, and long flowing cilia sprout from them in tufts, sweeping around the body as if mid swim. Small clusters of bead-like cells dot the gaps between plates. The organic, fleshy texture makes it look freshly pulled from a dish. It suits a cell biology class, a bioelectricity or synthetic life talk, or a curious display shelf.
