Egg-shaped Christmas ornament with a crowned hanging cap and a small loop for a ribbon or hook. Two wide bands of oval and diamond-shaped gems circle the body, each framed by rows of tiny beads and raised rings. The smooth plain panel between the bands and the rounded bottom cap give the intricate work room to stand out. The underside is a solid smooth dome. It would hang from a tree branch, sit on a mantel or join a holiday display of decorative baubles.
