A round Christmas bauble ornament built as an open lattice of curved ribs and raised snowflake motifs. A fluted crown cap with pointed petal panels sits on top, topped by a smooth hanging loop. Small studs mark the joins where the ribs cross, and a rosette gathers the ribs at the base. Snowflakes of several sizes fill the panels around the sphere, with fine sprigs and leaf shapes between them. The openwork lets light pass through the shell, so it suits a tree, a window or a winter display shelf, or a hobbyist who likes intricate filigree prints.
