An adrenal cortex cross section lays out the gland's layers as a detailed relief. It runs from the outer capsule inward through rounded cell clusters, long parallel cell cords and a looser net of cells near the core. Each cell is sculpted with its own nucleus, and channels between the cords stand in for the sinusoids that carry blood. Tube-like vessels frame both ends of the slab. Use this adrenal gland histology model in an anatomy or physiology class, set it beside other organ models, or display it as a teaching relief.
