Towering as a historic siege bombard, this Tsar Cannon replica pairs a huge barrel with a richly carved cast carriage. The muzzle is bored open and the breech is domed, with square-patterned bands, raised ribs, fluted panels and carrying loops along the barrel. A roaring lion head sits at the front of the carriage, which is covered in scrolling vine and beast relief. Two openwork spoked wheels with ornate hubs and a turned rear roller complete it. It suits a history display shelf, a classroom, or a tabletop siege scene.
