Caught mid-hop, a small Tasmanian bettong springs forward on long hind feet with its forepaws tucked close to its chest. The sculpt shows a pointed snout, rounded ears, a compact rounded body with fine fur texture, and a long curved tail trailing behind for balance. Slender legs and toes are clearly defined, giving the animal a lively sense of motion. It stands without a base and makes a charming piece for a wildlife display shelf, a nature-themed desk, or a classroom lesson on Australian marsupials.
