A slender little Sinosauropteryx caught mid-stride, its long tail held out straight behind it for balance. The small theropod has a narrow head with a gently open snout, short grasping arms tucked in near the chest, and thin legs ending in delicate clawed feet. Fine skin texture runs along the body and down the long tapering tail. It stands without a base, so it can sit on a shelf of prehistoric animals, join a dinosaur diorama, or help explain feathered dinosaurs in a classroom.
