Sliced in half to show its inner structure, this lymph node cutaway reveals rounded lymphocyte follicles with germinal centers packed around the outer edge. Branching sinuses run inward toward a hilum where a larger vessel exits, while several beaded afferent vessels enter around the rim. The pebbled texture of the follicles contrasts with the smooth channels between them. It makes a clear teaching model for an anatomy or immunology classroom, a medical study desk or a science display shelf.
