Rustic timber lean-to hut crowned with a deep scalloped thatched gable roof and a rope-bound ridge pole with knobbed ends. Log corner posts wear rope wraps, and low plank rails close in the open sides. The back and one end are walled with uneven vertical boards held by cross battens, while the underside shows exposed rafters and ceiling planks. Roughly carved wood grain covers every surface. A handy livestock shelter or hay shed for fantasy villages, farmsteads and tabletop scenery, it also works as a charming display piece.
