A snowy train station makes a charming centerpiece for a winter village layout. The little station house has a steep shingled roof with thick snow drifts, a clock cupola, a brick chimney, a wreath above the door and a timber-framed gable. A long covered platform canopy shelters benches, a luggage trolley, hanging lanterns and a sign, held up by carved posts. A lamp post and a small decorated Christmas tree stand at one end of the wooden platform, and a straight length of rail track runs alongside. It suits a display shelf, holiday diorama or tabletop town scene.
