Mid-stride on a tubulin microtubule, this kinesin motor protein shows how cells haul cargo along their internal highways. Two knobbly heads plant on the rows of rounded tubulin beads, a twisted coiled stalk rises from them, and a clustered cargo tail tops the climb.
