Birdhouse designs rarely get this much character, with a lopsided shingled roof that sweeps into curled eaves and a small mushroom-cap chimney on top. A round entrance hole sits in a rim of boarded patches above a chunky perch peg, and warped vertical planks cover the walls. The house sits on a collar of crossed boards atop a knotted branch post with snapped stubs and bark grooves.
