Dressed for the holidays, this sleigh has a deep open seat basin framed by thick rolled rims that curl into scrolls at the front and back. Two long runners sweep up into spiral tips and are held to the body by angled struts. A raised holly leaf and berry cluster decorates each side panel, and a slim raised border follows the curve of the hull. The underside is solid and the surfaces are smooth. It works as a Christmas sleigh on a mantel or shelf, as a candy dish, or as a planter for a festive table display.
