A lifelike chinstrap penguin sculpt standing upright on its own two feet. The bird holds its slim flippers close to its rounded body, with a fine incised line tracing the chin strap and cap across its head. Delicate feather texture runs over the chest and back, the short pointed beak angles slightly forward, and the clawed webbed feet are detailed toe by toe beside a stiff fanned tail.
