Orbiting above any sci-fi table, this satellite pairs a stout barrel-shaped instrument bus with two flat solar wings on jointed hinges. A parabolic dish antenna on a short mast juts from one side beside a long boom aerial, while a ribbed docking module with square hatches extends from the other. Panelled bands, rivet-like blocks and a domed top cap with a whip antenna give the hull plenty of mechanical detail. Mount it on a flight stand above a space battle map, hang it over a starship bridge diorama, or set it on a shelf beside other spacecraft.
