A greater kudu bull walks forward with his head lowered, long corkscrew horns spiralling high above. Thin sculpted stripes cross his back and flanks, a fringe of hair hangs beneath the throat, and his large ears flare out to the sides. Mid-stride legs and a raised hind hoof give the figure a sense of motion. Freestanding with no base, he makes a striking centrepiece for a wildlife display shelf, a biology lesson on African antelope or a grassland diorama.
