Estemmenosuchus is shown here as a heavy-bodied Permian therapsid standing on four sturdy limbs, each foot ending in five clawed toes. A tall horn rises above the brow, with smaller knobs along the skull and broad fleshy flanges on each cheek. The skin carries wrinkled folds across the neck, shoulders and flanks, and a thick tail tapers to a point behind the hips. The open mouth shows small teeth, and the whole body is a solid sculpt with no base. It suits a paleontology shelf, a classroom display or a prehistoric tabletop diorama for hobbyists who enjoy extinct animals.
