Alpine marmot sculpted mid-stride, a chunky groundhog-style rodent with a bushy tail and a rounded muzzle. Every inch of the body is covered in layered, overlapping tufts of fur that give it a thick, shaggy coat. The head is slightly raised with small round ears and detailed eyes, and each of the four short legs ends in a paw with separate toes and claws. The walking pose is natural and balanced, and the underside is solid. It suits a nature shelf, a classroom wildlife collection or a woodland diorama.
