Medical and research print labs that run an AMF workflow can print surfaces straight from 3D Slicer or ParaView VTK output. The VTK to AMF Converter writes a Visualization Toolkit mesh as an Additive Manufacturing File inside the browser, free, with no upload, for PrusaSlicer or an AMF capable industrial slicer. Anatomy and research shapes can then be printed. Data arrays are removed. Any other slicer takes the 3D Print STL File for 3D printing that StarForge 3D Modeling Software also makes.
