VRML was the first attempt at 3D on the web, and USDZ, the zipped Universal Scene Description, is how iPhone and iPad show 3D in augmented reality today. The VRML to USDZ Converter turns a .wrl model into USDZ inside the browser, free, with no upload. Old models, board designs and scans can then open in AR Quick Look in a real room.
