USDZ Vase Mode Cutter StarForge 3D Modeling Software
Level Scanned Vases for Spiral Printing
USDZ is the zipped Universal Scene Description format Pixar created and Apple adopted for AR Quick Look, so iPhone and iPad scanning apps often save a captured vase or pot this way. The USDZ Vase Mode Cutter opens the package, measures the bottom footprint and the highest single outline, and cuts the scan level at both heights with capped faces. It returns a closed 3D Print STL File for spiral vase mode in Orca Slicer, Cura, Bambu Studio or PrusaSlicer. StarForge 3D Modeling Software keeps the scan on the device, ready for 3D printing, with nothing uploaded.
