LiDAR Scans for MeshLab and CloudCompare

Scans made with iPhone LiDAR apps and saved as USDZ often need inspection in MeshLab or CloudCompare, which read Stanford's Polygon File Format. The USDZ to PLY Converter writes the Universal Scene Description Zip geometry as PLY in the browser, free, with no upload. The scan can then be cleaned, measured or aligned with other captures. Photo textures are not carried into the PLY. After cleanup, the mesh can head to 3D printing as a 3D Print STL File in StarForge 3D Modeling Software.
