Giant Molecules on the Classroom Desk in AR
Augmented reality brings chemistry off the page: USDZ (Universal Scene Description Zip) opens in AR Quick Look on an iPhone or iPad, letting a class place a giant caffeine molecule on the desk. USDZ Molecule Model exports any molecule typed by name, from PubChem atoms and 3D positions, as a ball and stick, space filling, wireframe or cloud model with double and triple bonds as two or three sticks. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also writes a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing, flat underneath, where balls and sticks may want supports.
