USDZ Gridfinity Generator StarForge 3D Modeling Software
Check Gridfinity Bin Fit by Eye in AR
Apple uses USDZ, Pixar's zipped Universal Scene Description, for AR Quick Look, which lets an iPhone place a bin in a real drawer to check the fit by eye. The USDZ Gridfinity Generator writes a Gridfinity bin of any size in 42 mm grid units and any height in 7 mm units, with the published stepped feet, stacking lip, width dividers and 6.5 by 2.4 mm magnet holes. Once the size looks right in AR, StarForge 3D Modeling Software gives the same bin as a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing, with no OpenSCAD needed.
