Inspect Spur Gears in Augmented Reality

Apple's AR Quick Look opens USDZ, the Universal Scene Description Zip, on any iPhone or iPad, letting a gear be inspected in augmented reality before a single layer is printed. The USDZ Gear Generator makes involute spur gears from a module, tooth count and bore, adds a mate and turns the pair on screen at the exact centre distance, checking that outlines never cross; a 20 degree pressure angle and 0.15 mm backlash are built in. Sharing the gear in a message is simple, and StarForge 3D Modeling Software exports a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
