USDZ Flat Base Cutter StarForge 3D Modeling Software
Flatten Lumpy Bases on iPhone Scans
iPhone object capture apps and Reality Composer produce USDZ, the Universal Scene Description Zip built on Pixar's USD and opened by Apple's AR Quick Look, so plenty of scans arrive in it. Those captures tend to end in a lumpy, half-open base. The USDZ Flat Base Cutter closes holes with the Repair Fix Remesh pipeline, finds the height where the bottom forms a solid footprint and shows a cut that moves 0.1 mm per nudge; Cut Base caps it. StarForge 3D Modeling Software does it without uploading anything and saves a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
