Thicken OBJ Walls StarForge 3D Modeling Software
Fix Thin Capes and Horns in Sculpts
Sculptors in Blender, ZBrush and Maya often export Wavefront OBJ, a plain text mesh of vertices, faces and UV coordinates with materials kept in a separate MTL file. Those sculpts look fine on screen yet hide paper-thin capes, horns and fingers. Thicken OBJ Walls reads the OBJ geometry, joins it into one surface and pushes each wall to at least the chosen thickness, 1.2 mm unless changed. Textures do not matter to a slicer, so the output is a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing. StarForge 3D Modeling Software does it with nothing uploaded and no Meshmixer.
