KMZ (Zipped Google Earth Model) is a zipped KML package that places COLLADA buildings and landmarks in Google Earth, the format many 3D Warehouse and SketchUp models were shared in. Architectural models like these are built from flat faces with walls far too thin for a printer. Thicken KMZ Walls opens the KMZ, joins its model into one surface and thickens every wall to at least 1.2 mm by default. StarForge 3D Modeling Software uploads nothing and returns a 3D Print STL File, so a favourite building can go to 3D printing as a solid miniature.
