Thicken Legacy CAD Surface Models for Printing

IGES (Initial Graphics Exchange Specification) dates from 1980 and still travels between older CAD systems, CATIA archives and machine shops as trimmed surfaces and curves. Surface models like these rarely think about print wall thickness. With Thicken IGES Walls, the IGES geometry is read, joined into one surface and grown so no wall falls below the chosen thickness, 1.2 mm by default. StarForge 3D Modeling Software works in millimetres, uploads nothing and saves a 3D Print STL File that slicers accept for 3D printing, no Meshmixer or CAD seat required.
