Thicken 3DS Walls StarForge 3D Modeling Software
Fix Thin Walls in Old 3D Studio Models
Autodesk 3D Studio files from the DOS era, saved as .3ds, still fill old model archives and remain an export option in 3ds Max and Blender add-ons. The format caps each mesh at 65,536 vertices, and its low-poly models were never meant to print. Thicken 3DS Walls reads the 3DS geometry, joins it into one surface and builds every wall to at least the set thickness, 1.2 mm by default. StarForge 3D Modeling Software works with nothing uploaded and writes a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
