Sundial Generator StarForge 3D Modeling Software
Garden Sundial Set to Your Town Latitude
This garden sundial generator makes a horizontal sundial set to a chosen town, with raised hour numbers and a gnomon angled to that latitude. Hour lines follow tan(angle) = sin(latitude) × tan(15° × hours from noon), so the dial reads true once the gnomon points to true north, or true south below the equator. The town is found through OpenStreetMap place search and the dial size typed in. StarForge 3D Modeling Software downloads it as a 3D Print STL File, a custom outdoor sundial to 3D print for a garden, patio or school science project.
