STEP Vase Mode Cutter StarForge 3D Modeling Software
Prep CAD Vases for Spiral Mode
Designers who model a vase in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape or FreeCAD tend to export STEP, the ISO 10303 standard for trading exact CAD solids between programs. The STEP Vase Mode Cutter turns that solid into a printable triangle mesh, measures the bottom footprint and the highest single outline, and slices it flat at both with capped ends. It leaves a closed 3D Print STL File that runs through spiral vase mode in PrusaSlicer, Orca Slicer, Cura or Bambu Studio. Nothing is uploaded; StarForge 3D Modeling Software readies the shape for 3D printing locally.
