Renderers and art tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D and Maya read Wavefront OBJ, while engineering parts usually arrive as ISO 10303 STEP. The STEP to OBJ Converter meshes the exact CAD surfaces into triangles and writes OBJ in the browser, free and with nothing uploaded. Product shots, animations and visualizations can then start from the real engineering geometry. Once meshed, the part can also leave as a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing, all within StarForge 3D Modeling Software.
