Configurators and product pages built on three.js or Babylon.js load the GL Transmission Format, not CAD. The STEP to glTF Converter turns ISO 10303 STEP surfaces into a triangle mesh and writes glTF inside the browser at no cost, with nothing uploaded. Engineering geometry from SolidWorks or Fusion 360 becomes a web ready asset without a desktop exporter. Curves are approximated by facets in the glTF. The same part can also be saved as a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing in StarForge 3D Modeling Software.
