Engineers who need a screw top container inside a Fusion 360, SolidWorks or FreeCAD assembly can take the STEP Threaded Container, written in the ISO 10303 STEP format that CAD tools trade. The body inside is a faceted mesh, not an exact parametric CAD solid, good for checking fit in a drawer or enclosure rather than editing the thread. The thread is a 3 mm trapezoid with 0.4 mm clearance, the cap is knurled, and inside diameter and height are typed. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also supplies jar and cap as a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
